DESCRIPTION:  Schickel Design was commissioned by a small developer to renovate this six-unit apartment building into spacious, airy condominiums, in the most time- and cost-effective way possible. By maintaining the existing footprint, we were able to streamline the permit process for the client, and a roof deck was added in a second phase. The result was a cost-effective historic renovation that highlights original elements while complementing them with contemporary updates, and doing so in a pragmatic way.
