DESCRIPTION: On an over grown property in Madisonville, Cincinnati, Ohio, Schickel was hired to design and build a two-story + walkable attic space, residence for a growing family, who wanted a space for hosting family gatherings while also remaining comfortable for 5+ people. The resulting Leed Platinum, eco-concious home is a modern rustic yet elegantly simple structure, with a first floor, basement and attic to accommodate friends and family. Custom millwork accents the space, and a generous L-porch engages the idyllic surroundings. The neighboring nature-scape and duck creek path creates an idilyc area to grow a family.
