TriHealth, Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs - Lebanon, OH

Schickel Design, Architect in Cincinnati, provided public art for Trihealth hospital.

SERVICES: Stained Glass, Works of Art

DESCRIPTION: Bethesda Medical Center takes it's name from the biblical story of Christ healing the paralyzed man in the Pool of Bethesda. Water as a healing element is expressed throughout the building and site. It appears abstractly in the stained glass of the entry atrium, again in a large painted mural depicting the healing at Bethesda, and finally in a natural outdoor pool visible through the stained glass at the rear of the building. Other major works of stained glass within the building speak to the TriHealth values of respect for all, stewardship, and respect for spiritual heritage.
